Orange Bowls have been transpiring since 1935 with some vintage games like Miami vs Oklahoma, Florida State vs Nebraska, Notre Dame vs Colorado, etc. This year's match featured the Texas A&M Aggies against the North Carolina Tar Heels. In advance of Saturday's contest coaches and student-athletes met with the media on Zoom to discuss respective opinions on particular subject matters that they were questioned about. Here's what the North Carolina Tar Heels Head Coach Mack Brown vocalized during those videoconferences.
Question: You're dealing with four student-athlete opt-outs on the roster before tomorrow's match. How have you prepared the other players on the team throughout the week so they can be ready for more in-game action on Saturday?
Answer: We love and applaud the four student-athletes that opted out of the match because they played well for us throughout the season putting us in this position. They accounted for 4,000 yards worth of offense with one of the athletes being our leading tackler on defense. This is new for me because I've never had a guy not playing in a contest. The approach we took in practice is we've handled it like participants are injured, it's next man up, you've got to do the best you can do. We had one opt out a week ago and we've had three practices without that particular individual. So what you do, you take the other roster pieces you have, and like you would do on any week, venture to figure out what can be done to be the best offense you can be with the players that are available and not talk about what you don't have.

A special thanks to Mike Liotta, Lisa Franson, and Brian for arranging and conducting the videoconferences spectacularly. Another special mention goes to ASAP Sports, who aided with closed captioning. Make sure to tune in to the Orange Bowl on ESPN this Saturday at 8:00 PM Eastern/5:00 PM Pacific.
